GM transparent trailer camera

Looking for input from owners that are using the GM transparent trailer camera. The camera that mounts to the back of the trailer and is hardwired to the front and plugs into port at hitch. We have a 2025 AT4 with max trailering package and enhanced trailering technology package. I really, really like the idea of this camera and not having to have an external screen. Pros and cons would be appreciated. Or, perhaps there is a better or less expensive alternative.

Following this. I’m looking at a Bluetooth camera that I can mount on either of my trailers that I view on my phone so I can see it on CarPlay. The only downside is I’m not connected to the other cameras.

I’m old enough to recall looking at the space I’m backing into as I pass it and backing in using my mirrors but I’m now used to big screens and 800 cameras.

I retrofitted the video rear view mirror and custom installed a second camera on the back of my trailer. I like it but would have gone with the trailer camera option if it wasn't on constraint for a year when I ordered my Yukon.
