GM Newbie - So I bought the biggest one they had!

Good evening everyone, I have my first GM product.
The family is expanding and the Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Tacoma are quickly running out of room.
For several months we've tossed around the idea of a Suburban or Yukon XL so we have enough room for our 6 passengers.

We found this 2005 Yukon Denali XL at a local dealer, within our price range and with all the options we wanted.

I look forward to learning from this group and, most importantly, getting some mods done!

We recommend that you put all your rig(s) info in your signature so we all don’t have to guess at year, make, model, engine size, trans, rear axle locker…….etc. Makes it way easier on all members that attempt to help, to have that info right up front. It is also recommended that you take a pic of your RPO codes, on the inside cover of the glove box, and post that image in your signature. All this info will greatly help those that will try to help with a problem.


If there is any other info, like upgrades, mods or recent mechanical/maintenance work done, that would be helpful in any post as well. Too many times a question is asked by the poster and after about 10 responses we find out that the poster has done recent work to attempt to fix the problem or work that was done that SEEMS not related to the problem.

I'm friends with him, if its the same guy, I went with him when he bought it. Can't remember his handle on here lol. Pogey's is awesome, we go there a couple times a month, well, before this craziness anyways.

not long actually, found a web program that OCR's an image and grabs all the text from it, exported to a text file, copied, edited the weird one or two that were smudged in the pic and didn't come out right, and that was it.
I wasn't sure what to add so the safest bet was everything,lol.
If someone can point me to the ones I need, I'll widdle that list down.

The RPO code list is great! Leave it the way it is. So many of them cover your options and many interior and exterior components that can be a source of info.
