Hi,
Has anyone else noticed that these body styles have the "Check Gauge" light misspelled? It is spelled "Check GAGE" and I was wanting to know why GM would use this spelling? Couldn't be an error could it? It is spelled this way in the French language, but not here!

I wonder if they are all this way or some of them?

Like I said, it is spelled that way in France, but not here in the states. Is there a reason WHY it was done this way, or was it a mistake.

Nope, it is spelled "gage" here in the States also. It is a variant of "gauge".

Usage has dwindled so I am sure that is why GM now uses gauge instead. Or maybe because people complained it was in French? lol

It has never been a common spelling here...If any of my college students were to spell it that way, it would be wrong in my book.

Anyways, does anyone KNOW why it was spelled this way on the dash cluster?
