What r the chances....I go to a reputable audio install shop to get a wiring estimate (sumone broke in & stole my sounds). So, when they get finished, I go to my truck & notice when I crank it up, my gauge cluster didnt light up. Then I notice that my mileage was not showing. I go back inside & tell employee to come take a look. He tells me that he didnt mess with anything that would have caused it to malfunction. crazy thing is, the right cluster works, the back lighting will come on if I mess wit my interior light dial, but no mileage, no rpm needle movement, no mph needle movement, none of the warning lights @ da top come on (I know this because my abs system light should b on). flashers work. I dont wanna blame them but I aint into gettin messed over either. Do cluster gauges just fail like this?

well I pulled it out as far as i could.
didnt notice anything unusual about it, (ofcourse iv never looked @ the back of it before)...service engine sign will lite up. still no
left info light n da box (battery/security). no rpm or mph needle movement.

guess ill just throw this in wit all the rest of the insurance claim.

its a fuse under the hood, it happened to me a couple months ago.

I was hoping so, & ofcourse i would have checked but the mech @ da dealership advised me that its all on one fuse, so it wouldnt partially fail...
but even the gods can b wrong sumtimes...Ill check the fuses.

My gauge cluster did that while being tuned, but the radio fuse had to be pulled in order to tune. I do believe Justin said the fuse is too small and put a 20amp fuse in it's place.

scratch that..it was the cigar fuse directly to the right of the radio fuse that was changed to a 20amp fuse. If your cig port on the right doesn't work, that's why.
