Just got done with a 2,200 mile road trip over 3 days. Computer calculated 17.7 MPG over the entire trip. How's this compare to what others are getting on the highway? I know the heavier tires didn't help anything but still felt good mileage.

lol ... 7/11 burb. :)

17.7 sounds pretty good to me for a vehicle that size ... you must be really gentle with that pedal Paxton. :waytogo:

Set it on cruise at 70 mph for almost the entire trip, except for traffic through NYC.

I went to Canada on a fairly straight highway on stock tires/suspenion and maxed @ 15.5mpg with my '99 4dr 4x4...I would give almost anything to touch 17's!

In my 05 I get about 19. But it's about 90% highway miles. I cruise at about 60. There were a couple weeks that I broke 20.

I ordered an AutoCAl unit from Black Bear yesterday, so I can't wait to see how the mileage compares on the return trip to TX, not to mention the power and shift improvements.

I have always calculated mileage on paper and not the vehicle computer. Funny thing thou the Tahoe's calculator is pretty much spot on.

wife drives about 90% city and averages 15 mpg. I have been able to average up to 17.8 mpg, 80% highway 20% city.
