The one I have is a 1000 CA, 850CCA, group 34/78 dual terminal. Just received my terminal crimper (up to 4/0), going to swap the basttery out tomorrow for a new one, and go with dual batteries.

What battery is this?

What battery is this?

It's from Autopart International, one of the suppliers for Advance Auto. One of my best friends was the store manager at one locally, and I've done a lot of work for them doing repairs around their warehouse. I get the employee discounted rate for anything I need. Instead of $145 at Advance, I got it for $80. Getting a second one as soon as the temps here get up above freezing, was -20* this morning, not supposed to be above 15* all this week, and into next. I don't have an enclosed garage to work in, and I don't feel like losing my fingers (I've already had frostbite).

And my bad, it is only 800CCA, not 850. Still 1000CA.

So is it like a no name?

I am trying to upload a video of my voltage meter, but it will not let me.

Keeps saying "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension."

What do I need to do?

Update: the replacement ** alternator and new battery are working great. Can run my amp at full tilt, voltage barely dips at all, and when it does, I'm still over 14.0 volts (charging at 14.8-15.0 from idle to 2000rpm).

Second battery will most likely be needed when I upgrade my amp, going from the 1000 watts RMS (?) to a 2200 watts RMS (certified). Only running a single 1/0 run back to my distribution block (and 4ga to the amp), will upgrade and run a dual 1/0 run to a fused block, and dual 1/0 to the new amp (with dual 1/0 to single 1/0 adapters for power and ground).
