Hey guys, not sure if this is the right section but here it is my question.

So my front wiper fluid on my 17 Tahoe wan’t working so I replaced the pump but that did t do it. What I learned is that the front and back pump have different st electrical plugs. So the way I got around it is hooking up the new pump to the rear wiper system. Now to wash my front windshield I have to use the rear wiper system.

Are there different fuses or circuits for both systems, I’m not sure where to go from here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Rick

I'm having the "no wiper fluid" issue on my 19. I could hear the relay click, so I ordered the replacement pump. Can you hear any noises when you active the wiper switch?

No, I found out my front pump fuse is not getting power. Not sure what the root cause of that might be yet.

That’s good to hear. I was gonna ask the dealer what they had to say about it.
I can't remember where I saw it, but I don't think it was that expensive. Not what I thought it would be anyway. Fortunately, my relay was clicking so I'm fairly confident it's the pump. Please report back on your findings.

Just fyi, when you unclip the fuse panel from the block, the alarm will go off. It scared the shit out of me. Key was on the console lid, btw. I pulled the fuse and it popped out of the tool. I was trying to find it, so that why I was in that alarm situation
