i recently purchased a 2025 Yukon Denali 4x4 and after getting it home noticed it did not have front tow hooks. i realized it is a very nice vehicle and mainly will drive it on the street but always get a 4x4 as my work or recreation sometimes takes me off road. i have owned Tahoes for about 25 years and, despite the 4x4, on several occasions have gotten stuck and then pulled out. The response from the dealer was "its a Denali, its not meant for off road" and GMC did not offer a solution. Does anyone know of an after-market solution to getting at least one front tow hook?

In a word, no. There's a thread on this already that goes back a year or two (so it's not about the '25s), and someone has made a couple attempts at adding one to his Yukon -- but there's no easy, plug-and-play tow hook solution for these at the moment.

BTW, this shouldn't have been your first post here. Your first post should have been pictures of your truck! (Welcome to the Forum!)

Thanks for the feedback. trying to learn my way around the forum website. What is the title of the existing thread? Also, does not have to be plug and play. Not above paying a 4x4 customizing shop to install hooks but was hoping i could see a pic of how others had done it.

I bought a 25 Elevation and noticed the same. I contacted Rough Country and sent them some pictures and asked for a solution. If you and others contact them can probably get them to design and produce a solution. Just found this forum and joined.

Sure thing. It's in the Exterior section:

I think maybe the link I posted take you to a post in the middle of the thread -- but you can just go to the beginning of the thread from there.

Also, the front trim is going to be different between models and model years, but maybe you can find some useful info in the thread (even if it's not '25-specific).

The front trim on a 25 Denali is pretty busy and would not lend well to being cut up for tow hooks. You could do it most likely, but it would ruin the look of the front end in my opinion.

I cut in one front tow hook on my '18 Denali (see prior post) as the frame was already drilled and the cowling was pretty easy to manipulate. I don't off road but travel enough through the mountains to plan ahead for a recovery.

As an alternative, I was able to get a front hitch installed on my 2021 Yukon Denali 6.2L. With a tow point, this can be used to up to 5000 LBS GTW for the model of hitch receiver I installed.

Here's my thread on this - https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/front-mount-hitch-2-receiver-for-2021-yukon-denali.143264/ - that includes the hitch I bought. It was Item #C31088 - https://www.etrailer.com/new_review.aspx?oid=120641424&ouid=586EB8D1-E31D-4B1C-8A2C-8D89757BA9CA

The receiver comes out under the front bumper so there's no issue with any of the front cameras or electronics or modifying the bumper or grill. The mud guard was easy to cut a bit to fit around it.

I use the it to push my camp trailer into a narrow spot along side the house and it works OK.

The caveat is that the bottom of the receiver is 8" off the ground (same as undercarriage / vehicle clearance) which is OK for regular driving but...
- sticks out front low for off-roading over a deep gully
- is close to the bumper and you might need a hitch extender for use with a large riser.
- my 650lb trailer tongue weight pulls the front end down to maybe 6" which is low for obstacles (street curb for example) and I need a hitch with at least a 6" rise to keep trailer tongue jack sufficiently up off the ground.
