Front seat headrest removal?

OK, How the heck do ya remove the front seat headrest?
Mine, the drives side ratchet mechanism doesn't work so well, and I thought 'easy fix' just swap it with the passenger side, as the wife never uses it flipped forward on her side.... brilliant.... 'cept I can't remove em.
Any ideas?

There's a tiny hole in the plastic base that's on top of the seat...slide a paper clip in the hole, apply some pressure and lift up on the head rest at the same time

And if you open it up from the underside, there' a white tag that tells you your leather color.
