The Airbag warning light is on in my 2006 Tahoe, and it is throwing B0104 “Discard Front End Sensor 2 (Right)” so looking at the right sensor, it looks like either part number 10370149 or 15103522 are listed for 2005-06 trucks. Part 15057506 is externally identical, but is listed for 2003-04 trucks. I wrote to an ebay seller who is listing all three as interchangeable and asked about the discrepancy, and he said “Assuming that the airbag code causing the light on the dash is for a malfunctioning front impact sensor in a ~03-07 GMT 800, replacing the sensor with a 15057506 will remove that code.”

So does anyone have experience with this? The earlier ones seem more plentiful and affordable, so if this works that would be great. The question of course is that even if it makes the light go out, will it do what is supposed to do in the event of an actual crash?

Not to confuse the issue, but the first two part numbers have been superseded:

Yeah, I know, not helpful. But informative, no? ;)

Just get one from a partout on Craigslist, FB Marketplace, etc. These are constantly happening in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Unfortunately, I don't know about yours...
