They're Mcgaughy's 3" rear coils. He wants $75. He says they've been on for about a month but it was too low for him. Do you think I can drop the front enough on the stock keys to make it ride level? Will my original shocks work? I'd like to install these soon but if I have to wait until I can get other stuff I need then I will.

Those springs will work, but the rear may not go down a full 3" because of stock shocks... you'll need shock extenders.

Your front will need to go down about an inch to be level. You should get that with stock keys, but check your camber...

Thanks, y'all. I'll start digging up some shock extenders and I'll get it alligned ASAP after I get it put together.

By the way, nice truck 06. Where'd you get those slim roof rails? I took mine off but it looks kind of crappy with the nubs. I'm thinking about making a nice roof rack delete that I could manufacture and sell as a kit that uses strips of .125" aluminum as trim to cover those stupid bumbs and holes.

Awesome! Thanks for that. I'll post pics when I'm done. I'm still on stock wheels and tires though.

What about lowering shocks? Is that a better option than shock extenders?

Well lowering shocks are a good idea Axekick but I have some brand new shock extenders I can sell you for $50 shipped to you in Austin.
PM me if you want.

Good shocks will still need shock extenders. You want to keep the travel size of the shock as close to center as possible. You can do a drop shock or good regular shocks (like Belltech or Bilsteins), but any good shocks will be $130 a pair or more...

PM sent Nnaboy. Disregard the question about them being used. I wasn't paying attention. I see now that this is a common question on the forums but I'm still glad I posted it. I appreciate you guys. Y'all help me love my truck even more.
