Whats up guys, question for ya. I unloaded my stock keys yesterday and it was a breeze with the tool i made for the bottle jack. it was simple and safe. My question now is for loading these new ford keys. I cannot use my same bottle jack method bc as i am raising the bottle jack i am now lifting the whole truck. i obviously need some type of clamp to hold the channel above the torsion keys.

**Did any of you guys use a C Clamp or any other type of tool that worked well for you? i cannot rent the tool bc my local parts store doesnt stock it. i really didnt wanna pay $80 for the rough country tool to use it once.

It would have to be a badass c clamp. Also seen others use a bottle Jack.

The bottle jacks that come with the Yukon XL Denali is very shady it like trying to balance a two ton ball on a stick, I bought a 4 ton floor jack and stanbs after I used the bottled jack. If I ever get a flat on the road I'm going to be Pi$$ed because I have a feeling it will roll off the jack and damage the rotor. I don't drive around with plywood to balance the jack on.

I'm talking about a real bottle Jack. Also seen people lift the truck up, stick a piece of metal between the key and the ground, and lower the truck.

I keep a 3 ton mini floor jack in my truck. I don't trust the stock one either. $20 from harbor freight.

I tried a VERY large c clamp (with an extension on the screw) to compress mine...I broke the c clamp down its spine! Scared the hell out of me. When I got done checking to see if all my fingers were OK, I went and bought the tool at a local tool shop. Its way cheaper than a ER copay.
