Flowmaster Exhaust Pictures

I'm about to purchase a catback for the burb and I am looking for a dual system, I've been looking into a flowmaster setup but I hate the way the tips appear to exit.

Does anyone have pictures of the flowmaster dual exit catback on there ride? I did a search and came up with nothing.

I don`t have a suburban but this is what the flowmaster system looks like on a yukon.

I could never get the tails to hang evenly and hated it. I also hate rolled edge tips so i put these slash cut stainless tips on. They looked much better but still hung too low.

Fast forward three years and the the whole system was rusted to hell and was beginning to fall off. I was waiting for flowmaster to finally come out with a stainless steel system but i couldn`t wait any longer and i had a local shop bend a cat back system in stainless for $800 and i couldn`t be happier. Now i have a fully welded exhaust that will last for a very long time and the tails look way better in my opinion. It was well worth the extra money to have a custom system done.

If they don`t make your catback in SS and you live in the rust belt i`d pass because it won`t last long.

I`m have a SS flowmaster 50 series delta flow. The flowmaster cat back i had used a 50 series suv muffler which was about the same size but an inch thicker case and it`s a little louder. The reason i went with this one is because they didn`t have a stainless muffler in the 50 suv.

Upon further investigation I did find that the above Flowmaster system is available in both aluminized steel and stainless steel. There's a ~$100 price difference between the two.

If you like the way flowmasters sound, get one. There`s always a flowmaster hater spewing BS like this.

Yes, It`s true that a flow through muffler like magnaflow does make more horsepower. BUT. In a mild performance application it is 1-5 horsepower more. You will never feel that small of a difference.

In low performance vehicles like ours i`m sure that number is a lot smaller.

I have a flowmaster on my Yukon, and had one on my Trailblazer SS. I went from a $300 Magnaflow to the Flowmaster on my SS and noticed ZERO power loss, and lost no throttle response. The back pressure ******** is over hyped.

They sound mean for a cheap price and perform just fine. People who knock the flowmaster for reasons of back-pressure problems and "performance" are the same people who put a Borla or Magneflow on and say "Yep just added 20 HP with my new exhaust"

And i just noticed that the muffler that flowmaster sent them for the test was a 50 series suv. I`m sure if they had tested a 40 series the numbers would have been closer.

Hey zimeir, nice exhaust setup, I heard sound clip ...sounds very fresh I definently like it.Im a Flowmaster user aswell but I went with a aggressive mini 10 series instead of 40 or 50 series and stainless monster exhaust. Keep up the great work
