thinkin bout buying these for the 'Nali

some may think its dumb...but I've ripped so much rubber off my tire...and ripped my fender down at least 5 times....this would help...might look good depending on how well I install it...it would be unique...I know its for the pre-runner trucks..but still...

I need to flare my fenders out just a bit...

everytime I hit something that causes my wheels to tuck, It rips the inner lip of my fender down and out...it slices through my tire, cuts tread clean off...

the entire edge of my tire (ALL THE WAY AROUND) and been sliced off...I have deep cuts through the tread, some of the corner tread has also been sliced off...Im talkin 1/4 inch thick

I do that every time I tuck the front... hitting big bumps fast, driveways fast...stuff like that...

I already know the response (stop driving like an ass...or ... shouldnt have lowered it so low...blah blah) Im not asking about that...just about flaring out the fenders maybe an inch or so...that would eliminate the problem :)

yea i was thinking the same thing, im pretty sure my front end is lower then your blizz and I have never had a problem. I wonder if you have a goofy offset or something.

How much do those fender cost + paint? If its pricey, you should just sell your rims and get something with a more appropriate offset...

of course maybe you just need front suspension work

The camber is not even that bad anymore since adjusted....but, negative camber would only HELP in this situation..so thats not the issue

Look at all the tread damage...

This is how high the fender sits above the tire normally...

Here, you can see the fender lip that I have banged back into place multiple times

I know Max said hes running more narrow tires...I dont want that though...thats why Im trying to find an alternative... =/

Yes, it is a 3-5 drop

Front = 3 - 4 inches (drop spindles with new torsion keys)

Rear = 5 inches (drop springs with drop shocks)

I was thinking about that....I believe its curling the lip up and in so the tire doesnt have anything to catch and rip/slice on.... that is one option though

thats what i thought, but just making sure, fiberglass would take off some weight tho.. maybe raise up your truck just enough to make it level..

why not go with a skinnier tire ? like for example 295/285 then you probably wouldn't have that problem, Idk putting them fenders on your truck is gonna make it look like a lifted truck

Because I dont want thinner tires in the rear...I want as wide tires in the back as possible... I cant stand narrow tires on trucks...I'm only running 305s on the front/rear...if I go more narrow up front, I wont be able to rotate the tires...ever! I already cant rotate them from side to side...only front to back...

otherwise, if I was going to go that route, I'd get narrows up front, and like...375s in the rear

JFC bro, 375's!!!

305 is what i am running and they are plenty wide. You would always run a narrower non directional tire so you could rotate them side to side. however rotating side to side is pretty much worthless.
