Fender Rolling.

Im currently running a 305-35-24 Nitto Terra Grappler tire on a 24x10" rim and am running a 3-5 drop. Should I consider fender rolling, any success stories or nightmares? I've herd nothing but good things, but was wondering if it made sense to do it.

Well....you're running a big meaty tire there aren't ya'. You can't roll the front fenders since it is one solid piece but if you needed to you could bang it out a little bit but it shouldn't be an issue with a 3'' drop in the front. As for the rear, you can roll from the door back and it sure wouldn't hurt. The problem with rolling is that you run the risk of jacking up the paint even with a heat gun and all that jazz. What we did on my truck was just trimmed the lip and ground it flush, works like a charm and you don't have to worry about jacking your paint up. You probably want to do it since you are running 305's and when you weigh down the back or get a good roll your fender will kiss the tire and that sharp edge could cut it, especially with such a knobby-ish tire. If you ever look to go lower and want to "tuck" the rear you will need thinner tires like 285's and will need an adjustable pan hard to pull the axle back toward the driver's side.
