Fender Height/Lift height

Looking for the fender height that everyone has based upon what lift/s and tires you are running.

Im trying to get an idea of what lift height I need to meet the mental picture of what I want my truck to look like. From what I've seen (ahem... grabbing the tape measure when I see a lifted NBS tahoe or yukon and checking they're fender height when they're not looking), it looks like I need to be around 11" with 37s.

Around 50" is the fender height that i've found to be ideal for what I'm looking for. Does that sound right?

As a side note, this denali is exactly what height I'm looking for. Does anyone have the info on this truck or, better yet, know whos it is so I can get the down low from them?

53ish or 54 can't remember. 13" on 37s

52 or 53ish on 35s

Good lookin truck. Seen it on here before. I was building my lift based on yours until I realized that you're 2wd. Any idea what size that denali might have or who owns it? I'm thinking I want a 12" or so lift but 5k for the full throttle or cognito or bulletproof seems a bit pricey.

It just seems a little bit steep considering I can do solid axel swaps with 10" over stock setups on Toyota pickups and 4runners all day for $5000. I'm not complaining, just trying to get a grasp of these gm trucks.

2WD and 4WD Tahoes or Yukons are no different in height wise! I have a Fabtech 6", Ford Keys, 1.5 Body and im clearing 37s without scrubbing at all. No need to drop 5K on a lift.

And one with a little weight in the back lol

@Mcallister: I read on another thread you said once you put the keys and spacers on you needed longer shocks for the rear. What length did you go to? Im real close to lifting this thing and wanna make sure I don't order anything incorrectly. Thanks for the input. And I love your truck. Its what I've been looking at when judging what I want mine to look like.

7" on 37's
3 inch body 4 inch suspension
scrubs a bit but the scrubbing is definitely avoidable if you don't turn too hard

Im 6" Trailmaster.. 35s ..... 43.5" fenders trimmed some of the inner fender liner but nothing major.. and she is great height

I ended up not needing any shocks in the rear even with the 2 inch spacers! The Fabtech lift has a bracket so that you use factory length shocks! I need to get some bilsteins in the rear like I did the front but just haven't messed with it yet!

How bout for front? What length did you go with. Thanks for the help

The front I used Bilsteins! But when I ordered them I just called Cognito and ordered them from there. I just called and told them to send to the cognito shocks from their 7-9" lift and they fit perfect!

mcallister some tints are desperately needed on your front windows! would look killer with your setup!
