I have a 1996 4 door with original factory equipment fender flares, they are coming loose at the top. What do you guys recommend to repair? I need to remove them from Tahoe, but don't want to until I get advise on what to do to clean and reseal with. Thanks !

I would say 3m tape would suffice , I know that some are bolt on while others are stuck on. most factory flares are a combination of the two

Unbolt them then softly remove the tape
Clean the area well wait until it dry
Re attache them by using 3m and it will back new as before
