Both my wheels and stereo parts arrived today. I was gonna wait and powdercoat the wheels flat dark earth and install them along with some other exterior parts but I kinda like the grey, gonna dial up some nitto 285/45/22s and might be rolling on them tomorrow if my commission check is large enough.

Got a hell of a deal on some kicker stuff from a local shop so I decided to run their new ix series amp on my components. all the reviews have been fantastic and the new eq should allow me to dial everything in perfectly, not to mention the 9v bump in preout voltage.

I'm so stoked to finally have some 2s on this *****, tired of being pulled over for ******** since every cop in town that doesn't know me thinks I'm some d-boy with 20 keys in the back

When they're flat dark earth with a matching pinstripe and old school hotrod design on the tailgate I think it will help the issue. So many trucks have popped up black on black in my area the past year, I get harassed at least once a month if I don't keep the windows rolled down. Thanks for the props guys, you have no idea how long I've wanted to do this but had to take care of the fam first.

love it when people think the cops stopping them for an equipment violation = harassing :) just think its very humorous. and like i said, bigger wheels dont call less attention to yourself. tinted tail lights, illegal tint, and probally going boom boom boom cause cops to notice one more...

but, that said, keep the rims gray. thats gonna look great IMO. of course, powdercoating them will look good too.... decisions decisions haha.

Thanks. All that is left for the summer is finishing up the nitrous plate install, new windshield, and finish the stereo. Oh a suede headliner is in there somewhere too, maybe black carpet and some nnbs seats if I can find a set cheap enough.

lol that is way too damn far, but thats for the offer homie. My boy at work knows an ill upholstery guy. I'm a bit more anxious for the nitrous :burnout:

Start with a 50 shot and work my way up to 100 if the trans likes it. I'm waiting on a wideband o2 sensor and a window switch that prevents any surprises. Should run low 14s or high 13s on the 50 shot since I'm spraying out of the hole. May opt for the progressive controller w/window switch, should be fun though.
