Hello all!
I have run into some engine codes with my EVAP system. Before today, I was having the codes p0172 and p0175 being trigged (fuel system too rich aka too much gas not enough O2). I know the engine has to be getting plenty of O2 as I have an aftermarket CAI and a Black Bear Performance Tune. However today, I started my car during 70 degree weather and it gave me a cold start. It started at 1000 RPM's, then dipped down to 500 -> 400 -> 700 -> 1000 and then triggered the p1400 code ( Cold Start Emission Reduction Control ).
Does anyone have any experience with these codes? If so, how did you fix them or what was the cause of the problem?
