Esky roof rack ?s

I'm loving the look of the esky roof rack on tahoes, my ? Is does it have to be the same body style to fit or for an 08 tahoe can I use an 04 esky rack?

The way the end caps are fitted on the racks changed in 07 (pretty sure it was 07). I'd look for 07+ if possible. They fit a little nicer.

Just picked them up for a great deal $100 at local junk yard, there in pretty good shape a lil dirty but that was expected! Now ne one now the best way to paint them black?! Never really painted over a chrome finish, n I rather not drop the $ to have it done. Ne insight would b great thanx!

I would vinyl wrap it gloss black. That way you can always resell it or go back to a chrome finish. There are many people who have done that on here

By nicer u mean a smaller gap in them? I bought it off a 03 should I worry or no big deal

meaning the way the caps secure themselves to the plastic gasket. The 07+ up ones have a different way to secure themselves...

get a free photobucket account, add th epics, then copy/paste the 4th option once uploaded on photobucket into the text box on here. ( it will have IMG tags in it).

Anyone know where I can get the lower blk gasket on bottom of the esky rack...My rack dosen't have it and i just noticed it....GRRRRR
