Is there a write up anywhere on how to remove/install mirrors?

Not sure... But I think it's a matter of removing the plastic cover piece on the interior, then accessing bolts from there. They you have a harness to unclip. Very easy, if I recall correctly. But, someone here will point you in the right direction.
