Employee Pricing?

Looking at a LTZ Tahoe this weekend, and the dealer is saying GM is running Employee Pricing. The Tahoe we are looking at is almost 71K and they claim the pre-negoatiated price from GM is $65,300(that is below invoice). I was not aware of Employee Pricing this month, is it set nationwide, statewide or can a dealer just use it when he wants?
Also has anyone leased a new Tahoe (looking for MF and residuals for May).

A poster on the Caddy forum said GM Pricing is NOT going on right now. This is what I though as well, as GM usually advertises their Employee Pricing heavily. That being said I found another Chevy dealer claiming Employee Pricing. The dealer is Les Stanford Chevy in MI. They (Les Stanford) always have great prices, but now they are saying Employee pricing on top of sale price! They have a LTZ with $7,219 off :rocket:


Les Stanford also has Employee Pricing on their Escalades..... if your interested in a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade it seems as if you can get them at invoice this month!! If anyone has purchased in May and has or has not had luck with this please share!

I ordered mine through Laura Buick GMC. They just say all there vehicles have the "Laura Discount" I'm not sure How they get there, but they claim there are no current incentives from GM, but are pricing below employee pricing from what I can see and say when the vehicle is delivered I can still use my GM Points/USAA discount etc. They discount there vehicles about 10-12%. With USAA and 3k in GM points it works out to be about a 18% discount off msrp.

Your correct, there are NO discounts directly through GM right now. If you have a dealer willing to sell for employee/supplier or at invoice... your just getting an amazing deal! We wanted an Escalade but Caddy has dropped the ball on so many levels. So until the Platinum Escalade comes out we will probably lease a LTZ Tahoe. We go Thursday night to test drive a Sable LTZ with a MSRP of $70,350. Dealer is giving us a sale price of $63,500 before any other discounts (GM Card, USAA, Credit Union etc). He quoted:39 months @ 12,000 miles per year. If you go that way the residual would be 58% and the money factor would be 0.00129 for a lease.

No doubt. I was at a NHRA race and stopped by the Chevrolet tent to look at the new Tahoe LTZ. Sticker was 73K for the Tahoe and the new Corvette sitting next to it was 68K on the sticker.

In what reality does a Tahoe cost more than a Corvette?

I used them as well and they did deliver for the agreed upon price. $7800 off msrp for a Denali. Only $174 doc fee as well. Delivered in 7 weeks. Terrible communicators though.
