eletronic Liftgate on 2010 Yukon xl not opening.

My 2010 Yukon xl has an eletric liftgate and just the other day I went to open it and nothing happened. I tryied the fob and checked the manual switch and tried to open from the from the cab.

I also set the switch to the off position and tried to manually open the gate from the release button on the liftgate. nothing. When I push the fob button the tail lights do flash as if trying to open but no sound of the motor.
On a side not the glass release button works fine.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Forgot to mention that I also checked the fuses and they are good.

I just had this problem. There are threads on this topic on the forum. Bottom-line it is probably the lift gate latch lock. There is also a TSB... couple of searches will help.
