Electrical Problem

My rig is 1998 2 door with the push button 4wd. Has just shy of 250K miles. I'm seeing a slight pulsing in the intensity of the headlights and dashboard lights. It's very subtle. Hard to notice most of the time. Wondering what might me causing this. Alternator or voltage regulator might be fixing to crap out??? Neither of these parts have been changed since at least 2004 when I bought the truck. Battery and connections are fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

usually a bad rectifier diode in the alternator.

Thanks for the info! Will check into that part. Hopefully it's an easy change out.

Agree with Sunlit, it is usually the Alt, but also check all your grounds carefully, had a bad ground cause the exact same thing, good luck.
