WOW is all i can say so far. im getting ready to put a decent system in my truck after working out a p0440 code or changing the engine to a 6.0 but a few minutes ago i dropped a xs power D3400 in as the main battery and took my autozone batt out. i think it was a duralast gold 1000cca... not a bad battery at all but simply with my door speakers, cheap little touch screen stereo and a amp on the speakers with a 200amp inline fuse i see my lights dim.
i just had the alt tested and it passes with flying colors... perhaps i need to do the big3 and see if i get better current flow but man....
my truck while on was always directly at 14v... now with the xs d3400 my voltage is well over 14v.. damn near at 16... i dont have a volt meter in the truck yet but damn the difference 1 battery makes.. driving the voltage stays around 15.2-15.5 by looking at the gauge.
im about to go start the truck and take a pic to post.

but i'm looking for a dual alt bracket.. anyone know where to get them? my cousin had one made by a guy name dominick irragi in tenn but apparently he no longer makes alts or brackets...
i found 2 250amp alts i wanna put in the truck so i can get the stereo system under way
