Not quite sure yet, rack for sure or I'll do none at all.

The chrome accents with the chrome wheels is growing on me now. Might leave those mirrors alone. I'm on the fence I guess.

Match the bowties maybe, big brake kit for sure. We'll see how this goes.

Couple shots from today:

No rack looks good also. I took mine off my white 04 XL. (in my sig)

I think the chrome on the mirrors looks okay with all the other chrome but I think it would look so much better if the rest of the mirror body was white instead of black.

Get someone to photoshop it for you. And with the rack off. They have a few members on here that are real good at PS. I'm not one of them. Lol

I freelance photog so chops are right up my alley. I agree on the housing minus the chrome section. I pulled the rack on my 03 and 05 denalis like the look just undecided. Gotta weather the storm on the outlay to yates for the suspension and wheels. Get my slush fund back together - so I got time.

@ 07Burb ........... How do you manage to keep your front bumper free of blemishes and stone chips. Have you had it redone?

Looks great.

Thanks for the compliment, Lee. There are rock chips on the bumper (and hood). They just don't show up in that picture. Having the bumper and hood repainted is on my list of "things to do" for sure!! :)

Or you could color match the mirrors and get the chrome lowers... here's a pic of my old Tahoe for a visual

Some new pics

Had a few hours to myself this morning. I immediately got fast food, then took the truck for a drive. Thought I'd share some updated pics:

Emay what do you shoot? Nice pics.

I believe those were out of my Canon 7D, I run a 5d2 as well and can't exactly remember what I took out that day. A mix of expensive glass but I know for a fact those were shot with my 70-200L lens.

Thanks for the props..

I am eying and D5100, though I LOVE the ergo of the 60D. I don't have any glass yet so I may go either way.

I'm a canon loyalist, but I do spy in on Nikon occasionally. I just can't get used to their ergonomics. Locations of key settings are totally foreign to the canon line. The same could be said for a Nikon guy handling a canon. My lens ware deters me even further as I have a major investment in glass.

I have a branny new 5D mark iii arriving tomorrow. I'll be using that on the truck to do a little pixel peeping this weekend.
