Not sure how the hell you're doing that but I suggest maybe you put that bedliner stuff on it if it's going to be taking that kind of beating.

i used strips of xpel on mine and well i covered the entire truck lol

Look into some good floor liners or some xpel door sill guard that sticks on. We just purchased the GM OEM premium floor liners and they cover the entire sill and with the xpel on the painted part you'll be fully protected.

3M or similar Clear vinyl car wrap. Cheap, tough and invisible. You could try white to cover the scratches. I do this to all my wife’s vehicles. She bangs her shoes or boots to get snow off and scratches the crap out of the door sill. The vinyl comes in hundreds of colors. I get a like 5’ roll of the 6” from eBay. Works great and there are lots of videos on how to apply it. People wrap their entire car with this stuff so it’s tough.
