Take it easy champ. I appreciate your willingness to help other members. We can always use guys like you on this site. People on here are very cool and knowledgeable, but there aren't quite as many active members here as other sites. Consequently, it sometimes takes a little longer for an answer.
Something similar happened on my rear cargo door. (I have barn doors) Turns out the striker plate on the body side was installed upside down when my ride was being repainted and the pin on the door side was touching the wrong contact. Doubt this is your problem, but I'd check the latches. I think there might be some kind of contact in there that might send a signal regarding a door being ajar. Could be something to do with that. I don't believe that the NBS have the plungers like the older one's did, but I might be wrong.
