Hello everyone,

I do quite a bit of dune driving with the Tahoe Z71 and I need to turn off the ESC permanently in 4Hi. When I push and hold the traction control button for 5-8 seconds, the ESC does disengage but after 35 km/h, it engages again. Does anyone have a work around so ESC stays off?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

If the new generation still is using a similar wheel speed sensor as previously you could unplug them at the wiring harness connection above each wheel. Which will give a malfunction indicator for ABS and ESC but certainly stop it functioning. Easy to test and reconnect if the results are not as desired.
