Diesel Tahoe Acceleration

I got 8.71 seconds 0-60. Yuck.

A bit of that time was turbo building boost. Maybe almost a second. I did not brake torque.

I have not recorded my 0-60 time but I have a 21 Yukon Denali 3.0L Duramax and it feels on par\slightly better than my 2014 Tahoe LTZ 5.3\6 speed gasser.

It really feels faster than the numbers would indicate.

With all the torque the 3.0 has it is peaky like V8 gassers.

It’s plenty fast enough.. you are 0 to 50 very quickly. It’s not corvette quick, but plenty suitable for this vehicle….

Once the turbo kicks in, it feels quite brisk.

All the Duramax rigs I have ever driven all seemed to accel very close to the same feel of a gas engine. Vitually no lag, but there is a slight amount.
