Bought her at 170,000 miles, I have put on 3,000 miles so far. The only bad thing was the seat bracket broke and several small tears on the leather seats. The motor is almost new, the previous owner gave me a stack of maintenance papers and found the one that replaced the motor about 15,000 miles ago. Previous owner has 5 trucks and practically gave this one away. Dunno if Pep Boys still have the deal but I got it for that price.

i would of lowered the 2wd..just me tho.. 700 bucks isnt to bad tho

Atomic, Nothing personal but who you think will have a better chance of survival if the world turn to :poop: (2012, Day after tomorrow, Deep Impact, etc) Low trucks will have hard time thru harsh environment. Don't get me wrong, I love low trucks and had a slammed Isuzu pup with bags but I rather have my rig ready for global warming.

global warming? **** that shit, bring it on man. i got more rigs thatll get me through anything you put in front of me. Your 2wd truck with skinny tires isnt going to do any better then my 2wd truck with skinny tires cant.. that 3inch BODY lift of yours did absolutely nothing for something in the road to take off your rear axle or idk what the hell your thinking of thats coming. I will never see the outcome of global warming, if thats even such a thing.

where you located at btw and what do you think is going to happen when "global warming" strikes?

Atomic,

Global warming can be many things, however if you have rigs that can do better and well equipped then I'm glad for you. What I'm trying to say is that if any natural disaster comes up, a lot of times, we would wish that we had a rig equipped to handle it. I grew up in Florida and moved to California so from Hurricanes to Earthquakes, I would rather have my truck a little better equipped even it's a 2WD. It's what I got and if I find a better deal on a 4WD, then I would take it. Let me tell you a few things about myself and what I had to go thru. When hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and the leeve failed, I volunteered and bought my airboat to get survivors that was on the roofs, bridges, on floating cars, and trees. I had several people tell me that they wished they had a lifted rig that could had gotten them out when their cars started to flood in. I had seen dead bodies in cars that floated that made me think about these people. As you can see, I'm not someone who's a little crazy that walk on the street screaming the whole world's gonna end. Just someone that rather be prepared and go on with his life. I'm not trying to make you feel bad with your lowered Tahoe or your opinion on having it lowered. Like I said I love the look of a lowered truck and had lowered truck before as well. My ideal for my Tahoe was a camping/hunting rig that pull boats on trails that it could do at the time with a little extra that I could use the truck when natural disaster strike. If you ever get down to California, Lemme buy you a beer and I'll be glad to share ideas with working on trucks.

Yeah Movie always make things so dramatic, now think this way, during the distaster, what would you be doing? Driving that Tahoe that is equipped for it or a limo like the 2012? :driver:

On a serious side, do what you want to do, I have my opinions and so do you. As long we are all about customizing SUV. That's what this site is all about right?

I've yet to see 2012, I hear it's an awesome movie though.
