DIC buttons

Recently picked up a 2005 Suburban LT none of the 4 DIC buttons are working. None of the steering wheel controls illuminate either.

Mine work, but only one lights on my 04. Low priority for me, but I have seen new replacement switches available and they are pretty cheap. There was a write-up on the forum somewhere, I happened to see recently. I think you can use a towel between the spoke of the steering wheel and a pair of pliers or a C-clamp to compress the foam enough to get a trim removal tool or screwdriver under the switch module and they pop right out. Like I say, I haven't done it but is seems easy enough and cheap.
