Yea I haven't decided if I wanna have a chrome tip welded on or just cut it off after the muffler. If I cut it off after the muffler should I weld piece back on to make it turn down or can I just cut it off and call it good?

i have a full cat back with duals exiting behind the rear tires, and i have (had) chrome tips but with them being right behind the tires, they didnt stay shiny for too long and i stopped trying to keep some shine.

i am about ready to re do my exhaust and have been throwing the idea of dumping it after the muffler underneath myself. i think you will make the right decision with the way your truck is turning out!

Dumped right after muffler is cool, hidden, but cool. Alot of good ways to run exhaust tho, just depends on what look you want

How's the the ride with them 6s? Your ride looks mean dumped with those wheels. Really fills in the wheel wells good.

Alright. Yea, I just wanna get it outta sight like you did. But the ride, it rides really nice like butter. Just not @65+mph right now. Hopefully getting that fixed tomorrow morning when I go back into the shop.
And I actually think its smoother than it was on my 20's. When I'm cruising @ like 40mph it's so smooth for 26's.

Thanks dude. I'm prolly gonna just dump it after the muffler or do the vertical corner dumps like Steve Meade has on his truck.

How big is your spare?

I'm not sure. I'm guessing its the standard 16" wheel. I know it won't fit haha cuz I got spindles but I'm just leaving it there for the weight so it can sit lower in the rear to match the front.

So I got the tires rebalanced this afternoon and it's a little better. Still shakes but not as bad. Thinking about having a steering stabilizer put on to reduce shaking in the steering wheel and maybe some helper bags with 5psi might help the rear...

I counted the weights on the rims and there's 12.50oz LF, 10.00oz RF, 16.50 LR and 32.50 RR. Does that seem like excessive weights to balance a tire??

Did a few mods today. Cutoff the exhaust pipe and did the Big 3 upgrade.

Thanks dude. I haven't decided on what to paint the vent caps with but I like the flat black vent caps.

I'll trade you my stock caps for them! Mine are the flat black ones:)
I want to color match mine eventually.

Haha you crazy. Mine are custom you could say. I fiberglassed them myself so they're completely smooth as where the esky ones still have a vertical vent in them I think. Can't remember. On my vent caps I also used sound deadening paint on the inside and sound deadening mat to help with the fluttering noise that was coming from the vents from the subwoofers. It's good now though, flutters all gone. I also have sound deadened the whole truck completely and what a task that was but was deff worth it. Makes the sound quality 10x times better.

Here's a few pics of the interior (still a work in progress). Everything that has been done to the truck, I've done myself minus the rims/tires. My next interior project is gonna be custom speaker pods fiberglassed. Planning on running 2 6.5" Components in each door.

Looks real good with them wheels. Too BIG personally, but looks sick as F@ck

100% agree with 07burb, ride looks to clean to plasti-dip those vents. Pay to play and get them painted right.

WhiteOut, where you been bro? It's been a while man. Hoe is looking good.

Knobz, Denali looks tight bro.

Hey guys, does anyone know how to change the bumpstops in the front? Cuz I need to put new ones in I think because I cut the front bumpstops super short (almost to the cups that hold them) not knowing the theory of how the torsion bars worked and that the bumpstops actually need to always rest on the a-arms. Am I on the right track?
