This month is the 2yr anniversary of owning my 2015 Tahoe.

Today I had the pleasure of replacing the damn battery. I had to jump the battery 1 week ago in Dallas, but I'd been loading the car with doors open and whatnot for 30 minutes...so thought it was a fluke.

After maybe 15 minutes today of just listening to the radio, she was dead! Luckily it happened in the Walmart parking lot while I was waiting on my wife to finish whatever the hell she was doing.

You can see the acid leaking out the top. I thought AC Delco was a decent brand? Anyways, replaced it with another 730 CCA battery since I'm heading to CT and don't want to deal with cold start issues.

Batteries are NFG any more !!! I am lucky to get 2 years out of mine here in SE Florida. I think it's the heat and the fact that all of the new SUV's have so many electrical gizmos that pull on the battery all the time. I am planning to install dual batteries on my new 2016 Yukon as soon as I get the OEM parts list together.

The best battery I ever had was the Factory OEM battery in my 2004 Mercedes S-500...it lasted 10 years !!! The replacement was around $350...but worth every penny if it even last twice as long !!

not sure if related, but today my radio died utterly.

going to check the fuse in a few...but the radio, BT, backup camera, and ONSTAR are all dead. The blinkers noise and other dash noises don't work either

Have never understood why Chevy runs all that through the radio
