D max and tire size??

Curious if this is still the same story one year later?

I asked a service rep at the dealer a few weeks ago and was told it was not possible to recalibrate the speedometer.

Here locally, both GM and Chevy dealers have fairly large accessory businesses which install larger tires / lifts etc. The GMC dealer put larger BF AT's on my wife's Denali and the Chevy dealer put 35's on my FIL's ZR2. I can't believe the dealers didn't adjust the speedo's. The ZR2 had to have been calibrated as at 80mpg the truck vs Android Auto would be 6 mph off if it wasn't.
