Cut off brackets on 2013 PPV

Anyone know what use to be hear?

Aluminum material heat shield between exhaust pipe and spare tire.

That heat shield is broken and missing, based on pix. You need that, otherwise the spare tire could be cooked.

Guess I will have to fabricate one because only one place says GM Part No.: 23149246 fits all others say no but have no other alternative to use

Agree but that's one that all the part places say does not fit a 2013 Tahoe PPV

Just ditch the spare tire, when is the last time you actually were in the middle of nowhere and needed one?

it will fit, the only difference on the ppv frame/body is it sits slightly lower due to the suspension setup

I ditched my spare and got on the AAA plan my whole immediate family is on. Then again, I have enough car friends around if I need something.

There is a good chance I still have this laying around my garage with my jack and all of the rest of the spare tire equipment. I removed all of that stuff from mine to make room for the trainhorns, air tank, and pump. Let me know if you haven't ordered it yet, if I can find mine I'll just send it to you.
