2011 Tahoe 220300. I might have found a new clue in my random crank no start and sometimes hard start. I drive it and the engine gets to operating temp, then I stop somewhere for less than 30 minutes. I got the hard start where it started after long crank but throttle was choking down and vehicle was jerking. Today it did it again except this time after the first crank no start, I pressed the pedal all the way then cranked and it fired up and ran smoothly so far. Zero codes or stored DTC so far. What on earth is going on? When the car sits for around an hour or more, it doesn’t have this issue, only when seems to show its face when the engine is still hot.

Most likely the Evap purge solenoid on the intake manifold is allowing fuel vapors to flood the engine when off. Pressing the accelerator to the floor while cranking puts the ECU into "clear flood" mode and shuts off the fuel injectors while cranking allowing the fuel vapors to start the engine on there own. After the truck starts and you remove your foot from the floor the injectors start working as normal.

Do you have any issues with the gas pump cutting off while fueling as though the tank were full but you know it isn't?

It is not uncommon for the charcoal canister to puke some of the charcoal pellets out into the vapor lines and for them to get sucked all the way up to the purge solenoid causing the issue you are experiencing.

Check fuel pressure regulator ... fuel pump could be getting tired ... possible leaky fuel injector ...
