I believe 285 is the width of the tread and that won't change with a wider wheel, so you should be okay.

I have those rims. You may rub. The offset is 0mm. 285 is the measurement in metric so those tires are 20mm wider than the 265. I run a 265 on those rims, lowered 2/2 and the tires as they sit now stick out a inch or so past the wheel well. Full lock im grazing the wheel well liners so i imagine 285 will make you rub and need trimming even if you have stock suspension

Thanks for the imput guys, looks like I will be putting them on and then seeing how much trimming will need to be done.

Hey buddy could you tell me what tire size your running? 285/?/17

I'm guessing it's 285/75/17? Correct?
