So, I've had about 2k burning a hole in my pocket, and of course everyday on here I find something new I want to do, katzkin, strobes, ss bumper......But I think Ive narrowed down what I'm going to get. Just because I have 2k extra doesnt mean I want to blow it all.

The corsa is pretty much a done deal, unless someone has proof that they supported the **** party or Sarah Palin or something.....but the pacesetters, I'm going off of price. Which isnt always the smartest, but I havent read anything bad other than people didnt think they came in LT ceramics. Heres what I will be getting

Comments/Insight please......

I will tell you this.. Make sure you have cats when running LTs and Corsa or you will hate it. Speaking from experience. :)

brand/model suggestions?

Edit* Checkout my ignorance.......Would it be possible to get the corsa and then get headers and cats installed later? Shopping cheap (which I dont want to do) that runs about $1550 and I still need winter tires (probably $400 with alignment) and undercoating ($200) before snow fall.....

I was shopping just summit because I wanted everything to arrive at once

I've heard that without cats on a trailblazer SS...really loud and pops a lot when you let off.

Yeah I had read that post while I was looking, but I didnt look into them. I definitely will. That money is pretty much, no, it is spent, but I will be doing cam, tune, e-fans, springs, and servo in Jan POSSIBLY, so I might throw those on there then.....

A little OT, but unless you know of a good deal somewhere, winter tires are going to be a LOT more than $400 up here.

Bro, last year I got some all-season BFs with really agressive tread (dont know model, I'll post pics of my '04 Exploder, they might be in some of those) with alignment at American Tire off of Old Seward for $500. Beat the rush too, waited a little less than an hour and a half.

EDIT* I suppose I should update this post. Got the Corsa Sport from Nortex and I LOVE it. It is pretty damn amazing. Sounds great when you start your rig up and you definitely hear it when you floor it, but quiet enough to not drive you crazy while rollin around. It is f'ing awesome to cruise with that vortec wuhwuhwuhwuh, it keeps the heads turning :Hump:

That's not a bad deal on tires at all. American Tires does have some of the better prices up here. Never, ever get tires from Johnson's....f'ing rip-off artists.

If you got something specifically *snow rated it would cost more. I got Blizzaks and it was $8 or $900 for the whole set and mount.

I would love to get the Corsa exhaust on the Denali....I'm totally jealous. My wife would kill me, though. It's more her truck/kid hauler than mine, so gotta keep her happy. ;)

Haha, I hear you on that. The boy's mom and I split a year and a half ago, so now I get to spend my own money, what a novel concept eh?

Yeah I did the stone work in Mr. Johnson's house after he sold the company literally the night before he split for Flordia and one of our employees ****** up a seam cut so we had like a 2" gap, we called our boss to tell him and he said something to the effect of "**** him, fill it with epoxy. Thats for over charging me for tires for the past 15 years" hahaha

Yeah, these BFs were no blizzacks or hakapoletas (Spelled wrong, and are those the same thing) but they worked great. American was one of those automotive places where they are friendly when you dont know anything about automotive.

Oh yeah, NEVER GO TO MUFFLER CITY. That might go without saying, but F those guys. Quoted my corsa at $150 if it was a cut and weld, which it wasnt turned out to be a FAWK ton more work, went to "J's muffler" off seward and dowling he quoted me at $100 and then $140 after all the extra work. Great dude, even better attitude. I will be working there on and off learning automotive, but I work and go to school full time. I will be in there this weekend building (or helping, wasnt quite sure how construction competent he is) his paint booth.

Yeah, I know about Muffler City...haven't heard of J's, though. I'll keep that in mind if I need work in the future.

Just opened I guess. Its just him and his son working there I think. And, ironically he is located in the exact same garage as my first stone shop, the one I worked for when we did the Johnson house.
