Truck is Badass!!! Good to see another Florida Member!!!

My only question is when you were shaving all the handles, why didn't you shave the rear wiper too?

Ahh yes, I ask myself the same thing, what I was planning on doing for the time being before I weld it up, is remove it and replace with painted smooth plug I'm going to machine.

The dynamat brand has two rollers, one a wood one (cheaper version) and a "pro" roller, which is like a hard rubber roller with a wood handle. They are just basic press rollers to compress the dynamat once it is down. It is easy to apply, just clean the metal well with alcohol and a rag, peel the backing paper, and stick. You will need to learn how to apply it into the recessed portions of panel so you are not leaving air pockets where the area has reinforcing channels. Also this crap does not stretch, so you will need to make relief cuts in some folding over portions so that lay flat.

There is two different sets of tail lights in the pictures, the LED ones are the current ones and are going to get blacked out.

Thank you guys for the welcome
Everyone's rides are lookin sweet, I better pick my game up and finish this thing.

I'm shoping around for a Siverado 2500HD hood to replace the scoop fiberglass hood. Anyone know a good place to find one? I'm wondering if the aftermarket hoods are decent quality...

Your ride looks amazing. I recommend Craigslist first. You never know what you will find. I ended up finding a GM original hood never installed on a truck before for $300. My body shop said at his price the best he could do was $460 for an original. I don't know about the quality of the aftermarket ones though. I'd be willing to bet someone here has one though.

You are doing a great job. I like the console swap I have been trying to find a escalade console for the low. Keep up the good work and motivating.

Ran out of dynamat! About a box short, and I was wrong about 7 packs, it will be 6 packs to finish her off. I bought them about 6 months ago, at somewhere around $91 a piece, I don't see any prices like that on ebay now though....

$195 w/ shipping....Not bad....That is why I was curious about the quality of the aftermarket stuff. I mean I could always put a few hours of body work in for any inperfections...

Trick has got the look I'm going for, love the higher nose look. And with the supercharger sound and power it will look that much more badass

Love the combo Trick, I was thinking about painting the Yukon with the Metalic mint that I painted on my GSXR with black on the bottom. But I traded it for a piece of the red chopper in one of the previous pictures. Pic of my past baby below...

Can a Mod please move this to the General Discusion section...Kinda morphed into an all around thread...Thank you kindly

I'm in this boat too bc my interior looks the same - non-existant...I hate dynamat'ing.
