condensation inside running lights

I bought some amazon headlight and running light assemblies which I am happy with. one of the running light assemblies seems to be collecting a fair amount of condensation. it has some vent tubes, but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick. when I turn the bulbs in they don't seem to fit as tight as the factory housings. could this small gap be letting in that much? its been pretty dry, but I do get my Tahoe washed pretty regularly.

I drill a small weep hole in the bottom of mine

Clear silicone and seal them up.
Smear some on both sides of the bulb gasket aswell
