Collision avoidance and towing questions

New 2025 AT4. I looked like an idiot picking up our new camper. Trying to back up to camper with hitch installed, collision avoidance kept seeing the hitch and applying the brakes. I went into the settings and shut off so I could back up.
Is there an easier way to accomplish this other than having to go in and shut all those settings off, then having to remember after towing to turn them back on?
Also, on the same lines, is there an easier way to shut off the seat vibrate, besides going in every time to shut off? While lining up hitch, the seat is non stop vibrating. That is almost worse than someone yelling at you while you try to hook hitch up.

I’m pretty sure you can disable the warnings by going into the settings menu.

Is the system activating your trailer brakes?
Im curious as I have the collision avoidance turned on and it vibrates the seat but doesn’t activate my brakes when I am in tow mode and backing up to hitch the trailer.
I get the visual warning that flashes but it doesn’t brake.

Also get the warning backing in to the garage and I have to get pretty close but it doesn’t brake

On my 2023 there's a setting (somewhere under Settings->Vehicle Settings) called 'Tow Bar Attached' or something like that. If you turn it on, you can leave your auto-braking on and still back up with a hitch attached. I just leave the setting on all the time.

Thanks for the tips. I am not sure if I was in tow haul mode when backing up, I will try that and also see if I can find any setting for "Tow Bar Attached".
