Guys, I would start by checking continuity from the sensor connector all the way to the harness side on the PCM. The PCM is on the drivers side by the fender. You will need a DVOM. Just make sure you are probing the same color wire to get a correct reading! Once you rule out that there are no open circuits or damaged wires, then most likely the sensor will be damaged. The MAF could just be dirty, so make sure the filament isnt contaminated, but whatever you do, DO NOT touch the filament!!!! Just spray it with MAF cleaner, let it dry and reinstall. If you still encounter problems, it could be a faulty sensor or bad PCM that might need reprogramming. Hope this helps!

its was a Fing fuse! the mechanic forgot to put the fuses in the new fuse box... thats why i never came back to give him the 50 bucks i owe him... that and several other reasons..

mainly for tossing my old motor with a worn sleave in the dumpster.. "or so he says"

somewhat of a dead thread but the ENG1 fuse blowing means it's shorting on something. it controls a whole laundry list of sensors and whatnot. Some wire has broken loose somewhere and that fuse is blowing secondary to the short, thus you're getting no power to those several components. check the voltage at the pink wire in your MAF sensor. I bet you it's in milivolts and not the 12 volts you're supposed to have.
