Looks like fun.

I need to find me a mechanic friend to help me work on my Truck when I'm ready. I like to do alot myself, but no time to learn or have a extra ride to use.

yeah its alot cheaper! the money i could pay someone to do it i can just put into better parts and do it myself. the motor is a 76 amc360 2 barrel, stock 180hp,i want to be in the 425hp range, im going 60 over, flat top pistons, bigger cam, pretty much every thing is changing and will be new when im done!!

I really wish I could break some stuff down, strip and repaint it. Maybe in the future when I have time, money and another car to use as a DD.

Are you planning on any head work? You can get closer to your hp goal a lot easier if you do a head swap or work over your stock heads. Also swapping the intake and carb to a four barrel setup will help bring in more air and fuel to feed the larger cam/head combo.
Looks like a cool project man. That's a badass Jeep. Keep the progress pics coming.
