Chrome mirror covers

Few weeks ago we had a bad storm, I was on the backroads running about 45-50 mph. I hit a tree limb sticking out into the road, hit my windshield and passenger side mirror, luckily it only left a deep scratch on the painted side of the mirror, I'm thinking about adding chrome covers, anyone use these? Are they worth the money?

Chrome covers won't look bad. Or just buy a replacement one from a local junk yard.
