Apologies if this has been discussed and understand the cosmetic differences but an optioned out Premiere is pretty close to a base Denali. Wonder if anyone else compared them/has thoughts?

I like the Denali interior dash/colors more but for about 6k I can get similar Premier with HUD, Adaptive Cruise which the SLT doesn't let you get.

Which one knocks your balls over? Those options that become unused or despised will mean little if you kick yourself later for not getting the other one.

Great question and easy answer. The Denali for sure.

Guess I’m just trying to find a way to not spend 80k on a car.

Loaded premier for the win.
Has everything the base Denali has and then some. Personally I like the Tahoe exterior more and the new interiors on the premier are gorgeous to me. Agreed the Denali interior is a bit more luxurious looking but the premier is hardly a step down at all.

I’d say if you like a chrome look and the interior is $6k better looking to you then you’ve got your decision.

Ps - a loaded Premier is going to be damn close to $80k and a similar price to the base Denali. Would look at the financing differences rather than total price…

I loaded one up online for about 69k (supplier pricing). Kept the 5.3 and 20 inch wheels on it. Similarly equipped Denali with Tech and Pano is 75k.

What options do you think the premier has that the Denali doesn’t

Denali if you're looking for the perceived social status associated with owning a baller ride. Tahoe if you just want to drive a nice ride that nobody else really cares about :p

I have a loaded premier, it has every option minus the air ride and it was $79k sticker. I looked at denali’s at that time that were equally equipped and they were $81-$84k.

Not sure they offer all the same options anymore. Premium package I chose that adds most options is $4500.

Texas package is another 2k and performance another 2700. Add 22s and that’s another 2500. I didn’t choose any of these

Loaded to me is the 6.2L and the upgraded wheels tbh. Not so much a Premier vs a Denali. You said loaded Premier vs base Denali. I would have to do the side by side but I assure you there are differences. Believe that Denali Ultimate would be more comparable to a fully loaded Premier.

Hey now...I honestly prefer the looks of the Tahoe over the Yukon but to each their own
Same. I in no way look at a Yukon and think “baller”. Lmao!! I typically think, older person and/or chrome.

They are just different styled SUVs and if loaded are similarly priced. I owned a 2019 Denali 1500 and a 2020 Ram 1500 and can tell you the Ram was a more luxurious interior but also more rugged/sportier looking on the exterior. Just comes down to personal preference.

Don’t think the Premier offers the 6.2 but maybe they used to?

At least you laughed cause I was in fact jokingly making that baller comment about yukons. Tahoe or yukon it doesn't matter, they're both glorified mini vans for yuppy soccer moms

Who took the utility out of SUV the modern SUV is nothing but people movers. The least they could do is provide a flat floor with the bus seats folded but better would be third seat delete.

I guess those are the 2 options that made the Denali $2-4000 more than my premier, I had the $2000 wheel option not $3000, I couldn’t get the 22” chrome ones I wanted they all have been out of stock for the last year, and I have the 5.3 not 6.2, honestly didn’t want the 6.2, I don’t tow anything and I’ll take the extra 5mpg, use regular instead of premium and save $2500.

Denali has the following “upgrades” over base Yukon or the Chevys:

Acoustic laminated glass on front doors (both have laminated windshield)
Real Wood trimmed interior
Real Aluminum Accents on Interior
Distinctive Dash layout
Enhanced Stitching on seats, console, armrests
Leather padding on dash
Actual real leather seats in row 2 vs pleather
Choice of 4 interior color combos, 3 of them being 2 tone, including a light option.
Fog Lights
LED Tail Lights/Turn Signals/Backup Lights
Standard 6.2 Gasser
Available electronic limited slip rear diff (vs mechanical in the Chevy)
3 years of Unlimited Data for the infotainment

I think that is the list of stuff that is different, up to you if those are worth the extra coin or not.
