I do a lot of off roading so added two chase lights and use them for off road backup. Not integrated into actual reverse lights I control them via a stand alone controller.

What did you use for a mounting bracket for the controller?

Amazon Sticky suction cup type of mount with an arm thats adjustable and magnetic end. The controller is held by a magnet to the arm. Its a little jury rigged but has held up with no issue for 10,000 miles now and off roading conditions.
