Hi all - I'm a new member & this is my 1st post. Thank you for having me aboard!

I have a 2WD 2009 Yukon. I figured when my truck wouldn't start, I figured my 10 year old battery died, so I threw a new one in. As soon as I made the connection, the horn started honking, the remote for the door locks doesn't work & my headlights need to be manually turned on now, instead of my DRL's.

Hoping someone here has experienced this issue and has some guidance for me ...

Looking forward to hearing from y'all!
Thanks

If yours were mine I would disconnect the negative terminal, wait 5 minutes and put it back on and cycle the locks with the remote.

If she's still wonky, I'd hook up my Tech-2 and pull the internal codes and maybe also start checking for blown fuses/relays under the hood and that little panel on the side of the dash on the driver's side.

^^^ THIS. And after you pull the negative cable off, drain the residual by opening a door or turning on the headlights, etc. for a few seconds.
