Yes I did. 220 I think
I may need to find a thicker resin so I don't have to do 20 coats. The stuff I have is thin for using in vacuum molds

Man, that is going to look bad ass. I ended up just taking the time and some denatured alcohol to get the rubbery crap off the steering wheel, and was happy with it. If my truck was a show car, I would care more - what you're doing is going to look awesome.

I abandoned the silver looking carbon because it looked crappy after the weave moved from wrapping. Trying out regular twill weave carbon.

How big of a station is that vacuum set up?
Did the weave move from the vacuum process?
How did you remove it?
Where do you get it from?
Love the look of carbon.

It's not really a station, just a car window.
the weave has to move to wrap around contours.
It peels off easy. It's designed to not stick
I get it from various places online. Whoever is cheapest

Hahaha, gotcha.
I figured it would move but, didn't think it would move that much. Maybe the radius was too much.
Really, huh. That's actually kinda cool. If you don't like it, easy removal.
Cool, Thanks. Didn't know if you got it anywhere in particular.
I'm trying to remember the place I used to get my materials from but, its been so long haha, cant remember.

Actually I thought you were talking about how easy it is to remove the vacuum bag stuff. The carbon and epoxy is very difficult to remove once cured. Have to grind or sand it off or use a heat gun to soften then peel it back.
