Keep your speeds below 60 on the highway, anything higher and you're fighting wind resistance regardless of gearing.

I have 3.73 and Just drove from California through Nevada to Oregon then to Idaho I did 55 and got 19.25 mpg

Nope there was no wind. I was shocked, I didn't think the truck got that good of gas mileage.

Mine gets 19 easily on the highway going 70. with a wind at my front. I've gotten 19 mpg plenty of times. I hand check it. My dad who rides with me hand checks it. my gf who rides with me to school double checks my math. SO i know its right.

Well, I was concerned about the 3.73 because I have a roughly 50 mile commute on the highway each day to go to work, and it's costing me about 50 bucks every 2 days to get there.

No worries now, got a better paying job, and it's only 8 miles from the house...lol
